An excerpt of the audio installation, presented as part of "An Early Winter" curated by Ola Wlusek.
Thicket explores texture, depth and the aural associations with space and place. Presented on 4 separate audio channels, each component of the composition repeats over a different duration, creating a constantly evolving sound field. As listeners move through the exhibition space, new textures, melodies and harmonic relationships are heard. As a result, each listener's experience will be unique; based on their movement through the venue, and the one-time synchronization of the combined audio tracks
